After reading a couple of copies of ART DOLL MAGAZINE, I have been making art dolls (just one style that I came across) and I would love to see, learn and share new styles!!!  Is anyone else interested?  I recently made 4 for another swap and I am so inlove with them, that I it's really hard for me to part with them (but I WILL!!! - just not for a few more days!) Grin

So anyone else interested?

Oh I cant organize the swap....  Undecided

That would be fun - haven't made any yet but have been wanting too - so many cool ones one the web. Would these be the smaller ones?

none of my ART DOLLS have been more than 10 inches AND I am hoping to make small enough to wear as a necklace or pin! I just love the ones that I have made and would love to show them off more!

I am no expert, but I am having fun and I like the ones I am doing... I am surprized that more people have not jumped in on this one.... the art dolls that I have been making do not require any sewing or particular talent... and mine are similiar to this link but not exactly like them...

I love soft cloth dolls - haven't made many - the kind of doll I want to make I'm not sure I can -  but have always wanted to try a art doll too, and that would be easier than the kind of cloth dolls I want to make so that would get my feet wet  Wink

the second link is more what I thought of when you said art doll

did a image seach on art doll and saw several more

Well I would like to do it - so open and free in design - I think it would be quite fun and hopefully others will as well.
