I know!! Me too!! Also, at 7.30 in the morning JUST as I'm about to leave for school. Mine sleeps on my bedside table too, with my journal, dream diary, poetry journal etc etc etc. (I love writing.)

I like writing too...but it's usually for my eyes only Smiley  Here's another confession...I also have a mini notebook in my purse...in case I need to jot stuff that I might forget.  So, that's sort of like a craft journal's journal...Tongue

haha, I carry notebooks EVERYWHERE (so I don't end up writing / drawing on napkins and the like). Every bag I own is big to carry the massive amount of STUFF I lug around with me. (Mini note book, sketch pad, pens, address book, reading book, pursephonekeysmusic and the like). Cool

Oh, I doodle and write on any and every other surface too.  Especially when I'm restless.  I have a really short attention span and my mind tends to wander...  Once, I doodled a really cool design on my arm.  I really liked it and was afraid that I wouldn't be able to replicate the design.  I ended up using a scanner to capture the image on my arm.  Yeah, I know.  Pathetic  Roll Eyes

Who's started their swap item?
I'm almost done and I'm REALLY happy with it.  My partner Flareon had some great requests and I ran with one that caught my eye.

Wow!  You're fast!  I've got a couple more questions for my partner but I plan to start making the item this weekend.  I'm off to send another pm to starpiste!

CraftyZary and I are having a wonderful time talking about what to make.  I have the supplies to start on a mini art piece for her; once I receive a pic of her daughter, I'll get started.  (She very kindly said I could go ahead with making a drawstring pouch, instead, if I can't "capture" her daughter to my satisfaction in an art piece.)

Ttchica78, I'm so glad it's going great - and quickly - for you!!  Can't wait to start up the gallery and see what you made.

Hi!  I've been communicating with my partner, trying to figure out what she'll like to receive.  Is the crafted item supposed to be a surprise?  Or am I supposed to ask her what she wants and go from there?  Just curious about how everybody else is going about their decision on what to make for their partners!

Is the crafted item supposed to be a surprise?

It's up to you.  CraftyZary and I have solved that issue by each mentioning two things that we might be making for the other.  When we ask questions about how to make the item, we ask for both potential items.  I've indicated which one I'm more likely to make for her, but she's keeping pretty quiet about which she is making for me.

Even if I know what item in general to expect, I will still be surprised by seeing the final details.
