Sammie, do you do art?  You could create a tiny art piece.  Or a very lovely bookmark.

I'm probably going to limit sign-ups, since huge swaps freak me out; I've only done one swap, and I had 12 people, so that sounds about right.  (Also, it's a super easy swap to duplicate later, if there is interest in more rounds.)

I will very likely post this tomorrow; I'll put a link here so you guys know to look for it.

That's great!
I won't be in Round 1, (I need to finish my 1st swap) but I'm sure there'll be a Round 2 at some point in the future.

Back after a fews years of inactivity and looking forward to getting back into crafting!

I hope the sign-ups are for a little while,  I'm just waiting for my first swap, I already sent the package.  I guess I might just have to wait until round 2.

I wish there were a button to press so this would show up in my little list when updated. I don't think I can do the swap, as I could never make it to a post office so I am limited to envelopes. Wah. But it's a great idea.

Since you've made a post on this topic, wouldn't that automatically appear when you click on the "Show new replies to your posts" link?  You should still consider participating.

Yep. That's why I commented, with absolutely nothing constructive to say. ^_^

I don't know. What's the procedure? How heavy can something in an envelope be? Will they weigh it and be like "NUH UH I DON'T THINK SO MISSY, NICE TRY"?
Haha, I think when they hold it up and the bottom rips out, it means 'too heavy'. I think I have gotten away with pretty heavy envelopes otherwise. Not that your object would need to be heavy. I think it would be a great swap for you to join! Being limited to an envelope could help you come up with some pretty creative things. Flat things: bookmarks, postcards, broaches, ATCs, collages, coasters, etc.,. That actually sounds like a pretty fun swap in itself.
This swap sounds sooo fun!! I hope I can get in tomorrow--I will be on the prowl for sign-ups!

Ahhh soo many amazing swaps so little money. Although this is a swap designed around that so I might be able to justify signing up, but I know I shouldn't, and I had been doing so well at staying away from the new swap section.

I really, really like this idea, I may be in on it if my first swap finishes up before sign-ups end. ^_^

I might be wrong, but if you choose not to comment by post, you could also hit the "Notify" button at the bottom page of the topic.  That way, you can still keep track of what's going on Smiley

With regards to the envelope issue, I'm notorious for cramming envelopes!  I believe the guidelines state that first-class mail can weigh up to 13 oz (http://www.usps.com/all/shippingandmailing/letterscards.htm).  I usually tack on extra stamps when I don't know the actual weight of the contents and I write "Thank you Mr. Postman!" on my envelopes if in doubt Wink

Just got off a long phone call with my best friend, who announced her surprise engagement, so my head is still reeling - not sure if I'm making sense!!   Shocked
I'm liking the idea of wee, little things.   Congrats to your friend!

I've told myself I've got to limit the swaps but something small like this would still be perfect. When the sign-ups are posted I;ll decide though.

I already have so many potential ideas.
