yay! I got my goodies in the mail, and boy are they fab   sedna+ made me a journal with my fav colors and some wonderful quotes, a "writer's block", and some fancy writing implements... I'll post pics just as soon as the batteries for my camera recharge

alright here they are

all the bits together;


sedna+ made me a lovely journal... one side was red & orange, the other blue & chartreuse ('cause they're all my fav colors... so I can choose which scheme I'm in the mood for  )


the inside cover of each side is also decorated with writing quotes;


here's a shot of the "writer's block"... each side is a different female author, decorated in lovely shades... to go with the block are quotes from each of the authors


last (but not least ) are the lovely writing implements... sedna+ knew I prefer to write with a pen, so she got me a nifty one that can write at any angle... also, a blue and a chartreuse pencil (woohoo! now I can write in a couple of my fav colors  )


I hope everyone else had as good an experience as I did with this swap... it was a blast to come up with projects (and actually get them made  ), and even better to see what lovely items my partner created for me

i got my package from juliel85 today!
i'm home this weekend, so i don't have pictures in action, but i'll change them when i do.

--flower pens and potted holder (how cute! especially since the non-functional windows in my dorm don't support plant life.)
--fabric-covered journal with dangly beaded charms and some scrapbooked prettiness.  you can't really tell in the picture, but the fabric goes past the spiral part, which = lots of tricky work = wow.
--fortune bracelet, for luck with writing. 
--notecards with matching envelopes.  each one has a fortune that relates to the picture, like the one with the circles says "Your circle of friends will soon expand."  very clever.
--(not shown because it's in my pocket) a tube of mint chapstick.  because i am a chapstick fiend.

Woo, I received from determinedimpressio n today!!!  Everything is wonderful, so creative!!


I friggin love fortune cookies...she made a ton of these out of foam and filled them with cute, funky words I can grab if I ever need some inspiration.  The front of the box is a fortune cookie with a fortune reading "you will find the right word"...brilliant!!!


The pic is a little blurry, but it's an awesome crocheted pen case and two decorated pens.  The case has flowers that can button off for alternating.  I'm already using it!


This is so cool...it's a big stamp she MADE for me to label my creative works with.  I love this!!  I'm in awe...you did such a great job!!!!
