this is a pinup girl mirror that hangs over the bed. its pretty heavy and large, but is SO nice!

i bought the original mirror at ocean state job lot for $20. not a bad price for a large mirror. i repainted it, decoupaged on some large pinups i cut out from a book. then i sealed it with more modgepodge. lastly, i glued on little jewels to give it some pizazz.

i'm making another one for my friends graduation present. she came over and saw mine and was so jealous she wanted one!

its solid wood. i painted it black and silver. the handpainting of the silver trims probably took the most time of all!!!

You have inspired me!  Grin  I must make one for my husbands "Man Room".

What is a "Man Room" you ask?  Oh lets just say it is the grown up equivelant of a tree house with a "NO GIRLS ALLOWED!!!" sign on the door.   Roll Eyes When it is done it will have 1) The playstation, 2) a pool table, 3) a pinball machine, and 4) as much retro pinup girl stuff that we can find and maybe a red-velvet-I-belong-in-a-Vegas-Lounge couch!

Clearly such a room MUST have a mirror as fantastic as this!

Go ahead, rub it in.   Angry

LOL. I'm glad someone else can get a good deal.  I've gotten a few, but none recently.
