Had to come up w/ a b-day pres for Boy's friend's birthday..

His name is Nashringa..

This is Nashringa..

So..I made him some shorts:

(The pocket looks wonky, but it's not...it was taken from a funny angle..and you can't see the cool jagged teeth detail!)
(Ignore the wrinkles...I hate ironing!!)

*fixed the spelling*

It's not completely professional, but I think it looks cool! I used an Ottobre pattern (a Finnish pattern mag), and I love it, but darn these detailed European designer patterns! Oy!

He just turned 10, and yeah, he's seen pictures before. He is very popular with boys, as you can imagine! lol

Oh, the spelling on the leg is the Sanskrit way of spelling it: Nrsimha, otherwise known as Nrsimhadev.

you could totally stencil the correct spelling on a piece of black fabric and then attach it over the top as if it were a patch.  it would give the shorts even more character.  don't stress...there is always a fix.  Wink

Oh, hey. That's an absolutely brilliant idea! I was actually regretting I had forgotten to fit in a raggedy patch before I assembled anything! Woohoo!! THANKS!!!
