**UPDATE*** I restored the pics to this, realize they weren't working anymore. Anyway this hat turned out to be a big hit, and I was asked to make an adult version. I attached a picture of me modeling the adult one. I wired the ears in the adult version so they'd stay up. Anyway we got lots of awesome feedback here (thanks!) and out at the Halloween functions we took our kiddos to. :0)

*********************************

I made this up last night for my youngest babe, he's almost 5 months, and is going to be Yoda for Halloween. I am in the process of making his robes to wear with it.

Considered felting the wool up some to make it more solid and fuzzy and fit a bit more snug but can't decide...

Either way my husband thinks this is the best thing ever...  Cheesy

That second picture is just too cute! Your baby will get more candy than any of the other kids. I hope there is a costume contest somewhere near you that you can enter Yoda in.

I am not a crocheter, but I adore your Yoda ears.  Did you make up your own pattern?  A lightsaber would be super cool...I would love to see it.  I wonder if I could knit one?  My son is a huge S.W. fan as well so these things would be put to good use.

Oh.  And that baby boy of yours....SO so so cute!

Thanks for the inspiration!
