I would recommend Sugar and Cream for cotton yarn. It's the perfect yarn for dishcloths.

Yes! Sugar n' Cream is great.

I do love Peaches'n'Creme cotton yarn, though, as it seems to be a bit softer, and nicer to knit with. However, I think it fades a bit faster.

I had to look it up on my Mom's computer.  Here it is:


Thank you God for dirty dishes
for they have a tale to tell
while other folks go hungry
we are eating very well.

With home and heath and happiness
we shouldn't make a fuss
the pile of dirty dishes show
God's very good to us.


It's a sweet little poem, and I really like the message.  It could certainly be modified to be a little less religious if that's your thing.  My grandma is a pretty devout gal.
