Ever since my boyfriend and I got together he has been begging and begging me to knit him some pants...and I have resisted.  I don't want to waste precious knitting time making him pants!  I made the mistake of telling him once that it wouldn't be hard, and I had a pattern idea in my head.  He bought the yarn, and of course he picked red and blue chenille (making the pants weigh about ten pounds!).  I knit them in the round from the bottom up, increasing as I went and splitting at the crotch.  I made two legs exactly the same, and then seamed up the crotch.  I folded and sewed down an inch at the top to make a space for a drawstring...and here is the finally product...I think they are hideous, but Gabe loved them the minute he put them on, and then demanded I make him another pair...this time with front access.

I hope I got this figured out...I'm not exactly computer savvy.

Alright...I got the pictures on the craftster picture page, but how do I get them in the message???  I'm not very good with computers, obviously.  Anyway, they are there for you all to enjoy.  And, I'm warning you, they are hideous!

I'm totally in love with your boyfriend.  What good taste he has to want those pants, and wear them.  What talent you have to make them. 

I also like the way they show up on the craftster picture board next to the sock monkey in similar stripes.

you did a great job, but i think hes weird for wanting chenille as pants, and striped. I'd go with something lighter and solid. But I'm the one who wants to make pants, not me boyfriend. I even have a pattern.
