with the help of e.r.i.k.a.'s zipper tutorial  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0 , i made this today

the wristlet is made of dark blue denim with some added lace overlay
the interior and strap are the same fabric, a pretty red cotton. i interfaced the lining as well as the denim, so it's pretty sturdy.
i'm happy as it holds my wallet and keys and cellphone without changing its shape.

i'll be putting this up on my etsy store soon; together with some other clutches that i'm working on!
pls let me know if the pics still aren't working.

It’s like an alarm clock’s gone off, and I’ve just got to get away. I think it was John Lennon who said: “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.”, and that’s how I feel. Although he also said: “I am the Walrus I am the eggman” so I don’t know what to believe.

whoa that's hot.  I have a squillion metres of that lace at home and never even thought to use it like this.   Nice work.

Oh, that's great.  I love that it's sort of rough and dainty at the same time.
