hey all-
i'm working on a project.. i need more design advice rather than technique.
I'm participating in a Katrina/Rita relief concert thing, and i'm a vendor. (all the proceeds go to the hurricaine victims)
I'm making patches to sell... i'm screenprinting the design on some cloth and using double sided interfacing to make them iron-on.
I have a couple of ideas for the design, here they are.

--A magnolia growing out of some rocks, and puddles. I don't know the phrase, but something along the lines of "out of ____ grows hope" (possible fill ins, despair, disaster, tragedy, etc)
--i was also thinking of something with this design...

i also have red fabric.
--well, that's it. I was planning on having a few different designs so people could choose... but i can't come up with ideas anymore! i have designers block! egad!

any comments, phrases, or good ideas for images would be very helpful.

thanks- A

I really like the image here. I like how the arrows are all different, and that they all relate to the text weight. I like the placement of the period (how it's right above the Y), but it's not really necessary. I like the font used.

Conceptually the magnolia idea is has more to it. I think that "out of tragedy grows hope" works the best, but the others work too.
