I am an aspiring artist, as I create more works of art, I like to put them on websites and get feeback on them and such, but I hate the idea of someone taking my artwork's pictures and saying  'ooo look what I did!' kind of thing... so do any of you have any tips or ideas on how to watermark the pictures I took? Like is there a special program you use or can you do it with any photo editing software?

Thank you~!

Hilary

Photoshop comes to mind...very very expensive, but you can get cheap pirate versions...if you ever go to Thailand or something. ^_^

Jasc Paint Shop Pro also works...less fancy than PS, but I think less expensive, and will get the job done just as well. If watermarks are all you're going to use the program for, I think you should get PSP.

What kind of watermarking do you plan to do? Like, small text in the corner, sheer low opacity text across the image...?

im not sure really... i thought i could experiment with some different ones... i dont want it to obscure the image, but at the same time, i want it to be known that the artwork IS MINE! lol... thanks
