Who wouldn't like to own a corset? So I made one. Tongue
10 steel bones, a bush, cotton lining and satin top player. I think it turned out pretty good since it was my first corset, but I did do it with time and tried to concentrate. Smiley
It's a little crooked on me on those pics though.

Production photos and eh... interesting poses Cheesy : http://koti.mbnet.fi/monterra/craftgrrltemp/corsetproduction

And the skirts are both based on the exact same pattern I kinda whipped up (you know, put a skirt on the pattern paper, draw around, divide both front and back sides into 4, add 13cm wide pleats.)

More recent one:

Yay for eyelets.

That's wonderful!!!  I appreciate the step-by-step pictures (it makes corset construction a little clearer, although I'm still a little intimidated. . . ).  I checked out your other "stuff" too, Monterra, and it's all lovely!

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Smiley

Jan on Ice: I used the measurement tutorial on http://samleather.tripod.com/corsetmaking.htm to make the pattern, and aso my bones (hehe) were pre-cut so I had twitch the measurement to fit to the bones. Smiley It wasn't too hard really, just time and nerve-consuming.

Hope you can make something out of it...
