Harry Potter Swap (Round 3)

Hey guys.. since aliciasjoy recieved what I made her (and doesnt have a camera) I thought Id start us a gallery, and post pics.

Here they are:

A knitting needle roll, with zodiac and owl/snitch fabric on black on the outside, and house shields feature on the inside and on flap I made a few pockets a lil larger for lil scissors etc too.. and theirs room for crochet hooks and wool needles (the needles pictured are my mums, i didnt post them.. lol)


A tote back for aliciasjoy's knitting or crochet projects (the handles are designed to fit on your arm lenthways, and can hold a pattern and accessories too).


Top: Aliciasjoys fave character was Ron.. so I made a decoupaged tin of various Ron pics, and heart shaped Ron marble magnets (hehe)..
Left: Magnetic Ron bookmarks (to mark her favourite, most read spots of the books), Bunbury and Australia stickers (she likes Aus, so I threw those in).. the top is the golden snitch earrings.. but that pic isnt that good.. hmm...
Right: A Koala (an Aus animal) dressed up in Hogwarts uniform! lol I had fun with him..

Im so glad that aliciasjoy likes the stuff!

I LOVE the HP fabric you used!!  I can't seem to find any near me.....better look again I guess.  I also love the needle roll you made, still need to make me one   Anyways you did a fantastic job and I can't wait to see everybody else's stuff!!

I can't believe how fast you got your package! I too couldn't find any Harry Potter fabric by me... Its ok though bc it lead to an even better idea while I was trapsing thru JoAnn's searching

I scanned the snitch earrings just because I think they deserve a close up! I actually feel guilty that I don't have a digi cam, but we have a fund for it and are getting close.



Aren't they so cool?  Simple, but really ingenious. It's a tiny bit of metallic ribbon (?) in a sparkly golden bead.  I'm wearing them right now, and pretended Harry was going to swoop down and grab my ears, but my son is getting too old to enjoy me acting like an idiot anymore, and he was just embarrassed.
