I am now almost at the end of my second day of not smoking and I thought
"I know, I'll crochet something, anything to get my mind off the cigs"
So I sat with a ball of yarn and a hook and couldn't for the life of me remember how to start. I actually had to go and find a book with instructions!!!
I feel a bit silly, it came back to me real quick but I felt so dumb and worryingly confused for a few minutes there.
Just thought I'd share it Wink

Wow - the stress of giving up smoking must have scrambled your brain cells!  I'm glad you recovered enough to begin crocheting again.  It's a much healthier addiction than smoking.

I'm happy to be your cheerleader:
Go,Twelvety!  Crochet, don't smoke.  HOORAY FOR TWELVETY!

Congratulations!  I really picked up at crochet when I wanted to lose weight - kept my hands out of the fridge and I've lost about 20 lbs since May.
