Ok.. so im more than a little bit crazy over japanese fashion (sanrio, manga and things)... so i decided to make a t shirt that would show that. Unfortuneately im not great at drawing up cartoons and things (much better at still life) so i went onto www.elouai.com
the great thing is that you can make really REALLY cute dolls that show your style and arent copyrighted for personal use (thank god!)
so i printed out a few of my dolls and used image maker to print them onto t shirts- more than happy with the results!
just thought id share it with you!

I love that site! I use the dolls as avatars, they are so funky! Thats a really cool idea though!

yeh. i mean, theres so many things you could do with them. i also think they are the classiest dolls, less common

I adore Sanrio characters too!  Thanks for sharing the link to the interactive doll maker site Smiley

If you like those and like drawing, you may want to get into the dollmaking community yourself. There is alot of copyright stuff people get kinda irked about. Like if you say "This is mine, I made it" and don't say you made it using so-and-so's doll maker, problems may arise. But with making your own (without using a dollmaker) you can decide what you want them to wear, the color, how exactly you want it to look, and be able to actually say "I made this". It is more rewarding IMO. Well, you do have to credit the base maker. In the process of learning how to doll you learn about shading and folds and highlights and such.
I really encourage you get involved, then when you put dolls on things you can confidentally say "I made this".
sorry for the long rant, its just coming from a doller, if you want to know more about this wide internet community, you can just ask.
