Just an extra message in case people miss the edit in the first post:

For all the kids hoping to do the video swap, I have cancelled it due to lack of interest. No one signed up! Maybe some other time.

The title definitely threw me off. Had no idea what it was until I read it, and Itried to watch Amelie once with my parents and we turned it off after the first few minutes of watching it. We were bored...anyway, I may try to see it again one of these days.

I'm sorry that I didn't see this swap this summer!  I love Amelie!!!!  It is my favorite movie.  And I actually did something like this for my best friend recently.  One evening I was watching TV and something came on that I knew my friend would think was funny so I popped in a video and hit record and recorded the few minutes of the scene.  Then the rest of the evening I would just flip around the channels and find funny or bazaar things and record them.  It was fun, and felt cool to be like Amelie!
