Addicted to bags...my 1st picture post.

I have recently become obsessed (I know that's a strong word, but it's true) with making bags of all shapes and sizes.  Every time I look at this forum I am both inspired and humbled...you all are amazing!

well, i would say there's nothing there to be very humble about. those are top drawer bags. i lovet he shape of them, and i totally dig the use of color blocks and ribbons- just enough ribbony things to make them look really fun and whimsical, but not too over bearing.

The color block came from a bag that my friend's mom had made for her.  It was so simple and so cute and I just HAD to have one for myself! Now I have...well, more than one.    I have been trying to part with these (forced myself NOT to use them...well, a few of them!) but I'm still a little too attached.

How long have you been selling your bags, andreamarie? I just looked at your etsy site and they are so great!

Those are great!  Are they really your first bags?  You have a wonderful eye for matching the fabrics, and the doggie ribbon is awesome!  Keep at it!

I like the doggy ribbon one--I can just imagine using it to carry my dog's toys and food when we travel with him.  I can't tell how big they are, but my dog might actually fit in one of those, too!

They're all cute, though.  I like the shape of them.

Thanks. They actually started out ~8" x ~10" so they are probably like 6.5x8.5 now?  But I can still fit my wallet (check book length), cell, keys, plus some.  I should probably take a picture holding one...hmmm...

My friend's husband stole the doggie bag to take his lunch to work...which makes me think, hmmm, maybe I could add some sort of water proof stuff on the inside and make a lunch bag for me!
