the rock part and borders of the hearts are embroidered. the strings on th guitar are well strings of thicker thread, i think. the rest is stencilled/ painted on.
Whoops haven't checked in in a while. The guitar is stenciled, the hearts are freehanded and the guitar strings and guitar cord are embroidered on with a shiny silver thread. I got the design from some stencil site. I forget which one at the moment, but I added the hearts to the design. I was actually gonna stencil the whole thing but I thought the strings would probably bleed into each other and that it needed some more punch.

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now. -John Lennon

two participants and i crafted for the mass shelter for homeless veterans and the pine street inn. i hope that they will post here so everyone can see what they made, but this is what i sent to the PSI.

these were purchased cases, that i used bandana material to embelish. I wanted to use something that was relatively suitable for either boys or girls, grown up or child because i wasn't sure who would be the ultimate end user.

these are the patches i sprinkled all over them

the pine street inn is a wonderfully successful place for homeless people in boston to go and get back on their feet and get good second start. the mass shelter for Homeless veterans is the same sort of establishment, but it caters to a more specific group of people, one that i think is frequently overlooked, despite their heroism.

i can't find a website for the MSHV, but here's the PSI: www.pinestreetinn.org
