Count me in! LOL, I have a lot to finish. I get most of the way done and then say, Ok, I'll wait. My coat has been waiting for a lining and some new stiching for a year now. Gah!

I'd love to do two costumes but I'm not sure if I have enough costume. I'm in high school or secondary school... whatever you want to call. So my teachers don't expect me to be a cute little kid anymore... and I am an honors student so I can have funny play on word things. But yea.. really I just need like a back up name for it for teachers. I'm thinking tavern wench could work...

Ohhh those all sound pretty! Gothic Lolitas are cute...   Personally I'd go with the maid from spirited away, because flapper seems to be really big this year...

I finished the skirt for my costume!  Grin

It looks a bit like the skirt from this dress:

Except mine isn't quite as full (I was running out of fabric), and only has three ruffles.  Cheesy

EDIT: I now have a piccy of my skirt.  Grin

Oy, count me in as well. I just started a new job so I felt obligated to make scarves for some of the people I work with. Shocked I think I've got 5 lined up so far. YIKES!!!!

super geek: If you post a picture I could try to help figure out what would need to be done to put a costume together. I've never actually heard of Spirited Away, so I don't know what the maid looks like.  Undecided

kiwitart: I've never actually tried to make a shrug, but I've seen a no-sew one floating around here that might be a good plan for a costume. The skirt would probably be short, I'm guessing.  Tongue

See... there is the essential problem. The skirt needs to be mid-thigh or longer for it to look like it passes dress code. So I need it to be kinda long... but still... whore-esque. Maybe vinyl... annyoing to wear all day... but it would work...
