You know what I just realised though?  I was in such a hurry when I put up the tut....I forgot to mention about making the strap! O_o  I'll have to add it in, hhehe.  Whoops.

Sure, the green bag is about 12"wx6"h, with a 5" drop on the handles.
The plaid bag is about 16"wx8"h, with a 10" drop on the handles.

I see from your pictures of your first bag, a little pocket there underneath the closure strap? Or am I seeing something else? I agree with everyone else that you did a wonderful job. This bag is one of those types that can be made in almost any size for any gals needs. Kudos to your own take on the purse/bag and giving us all the tutorial. 
  I've been in a sort of a "what do I make now?" slump the last few days. I'm DEFINATELY going to be making this one. I will also post pictures when I'm done.   Hm, a little inside pocket under the closure strap...no zipper though. ya, sounds like a good idea.
