Ok, i've been invited to a pre halloween party, and it's a 70's theme. But i'm a child of the 80's (86 to be exact)...which would actually make me a child of the 90's because i was only a toddler in the 80's  Huh

anyway, can anyone give me some really cool ideas for 70's outfits (or even games etc.)....some that I can make myself or get cheap??

the more ideas the better, cuz i have a few friends who need help too. thanks

I do am a child of '86.. MADE IN THE 80S BABY!!! ahem. Anyway... have you ever seen that 70s show or the 70s house, I'm sure that could give you a lot information, just google it. Also I think weed was huge in the 70s so I'd definetely make some fake! joints and bring them. For games, I dont know why but twister reminds me of the 70s. Sorry I'm not much help.

Your parents might be of an age where they'd still have 70s clothes lying about, so ask them?

I thought weed was the 60's? with alla the hippies and jimi hendrix..purple haze! lol i dunno..i always get confused with the 60's and 70's, seeing that i wasn't alive and all.

although to me weed is the 90's and 00's.....stupid pothead friends.

This would be an awesome time for I love the 70's to come on VH1.

I think most of us can agree that weed was big in every decade.  Who knows  Undecided

I'd go disco all the way. Afro, sequins, big boots, god I wish I could dress like that every day.

your local thrift shop - Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc - should be able to hook you up with some fine 70's threads. Think big hair, wrap skirts, lots of gold chains, wide lapels, rainbow eyeshadow.  And LOTS OF POLYESTER!!

post pics of the party!

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

Hot damn! You're halfway there. Drench yourself in sequins, big hoop earrings, slap on some platform boots and you're ready for a party. I'm so jealous of your hair.
