I got mine from Pink_Dinasour!

She put in lots of scrapbooking stuff because I'm just starting on that and beads and cool buttons and stuff and some zippers which is cool cuz I've been wanting to see if I can make a duct tape purse with a zipper and I've almost bought one several times. Totally cool huh?
Thanks Tanya! and thanks Rakuette for organizing : )

Most definitely Smiley  The idea of a follow-up swap (using the crafty doodads you just received) has merit Cheesy

I second that idea.  Princess_me sent all kinds of crazy fabric, plus lots of other doo-dads that I can't wait to make something with.  I've already started playing with the collage stuff she sent.

My pics should be up by late Wed.

If this had been a two-part swap, the second part could've involved crafting something out of the goodies you received and sending the item to your swap partner Wink  I am thrilled with the stuff I received from ilovepaper and I would love to make her something using the stuff she sent me  Grin

There was a package waiting for me this evening when I got home from my SnB meeting.  Can it be?  Oh yes it is!  It's my crafty doodads from ilovepaper!  I was floored by the sheer generosity of my swap partner.  She rocks!

The items were packaged in a quilted bag and a handmade zipper pouch:

Here's the stash I received:

It's hard to see all the wonderful items she sent, so here's an inventory of the things that were crammed in the picture:

  • Fabric Really, really cute prints!
  • Confetti boucle yarn Im thinking, a mini coin purse?
  • Zippers Goodgrief.  Did she read my previous post about my fear of zippers?!?
  • Cross Stitch Kit This is too funnyI sent her one too!
  • Stickers Adding this to my collection!
  • Tub of red beads in glue Ive not seen this before.  Ill need ideas!
  • Ribbons (fabric and vinyl) and decorative fringes Purses, purses, purses!
  • An assortment of printed papers and papers with cool graphics Perfect for the greeting card craftalong
  • Notecards I might frame these
  • Simplicity patterns for quilt blocks and pillows Ill get more practice on working with patterns
  • Transfer patterns for embroidery Never tried thisshould be fun!
  • Stick on me hook & loop lettering system Boy do I have plans for this!
  • Applique patches and iron-on woven labels Adding to my stash!
  • Rubber stamp Adding to my stash!
  • Plastic doodads Ill have to think about thistheyre cool.
  • Beads, bells, buttons, pin backs, snaps, and animal eyes (and one nose too!) Perfect for some of the projects Ive yet to complete
  • Pair of wine bottle charms Goes next to my wine glasses
  • Raffia ribbon and tags - ?  Still thinking
  • Package of self-adhesive miniature presents Perfect for my mini Christmas tree

Whew!  That was a long list.  This swap beats having to go trick-or-treating during Halloween!  There are so many neat things, and I can't decide on a favourite item.  ilovepaper, thanks for making my first swap a terrific one.  You're a star!

Rakuette, many thanks for organizing and making Round 2 of the Ziploc Swap a reality!  Grin

Yes, it is Smiley  We both decided that we had enough stuff to cram into the gallon zipper bags.  She did a great job stuffing her bag!  Did I mention she's an awesome swapper?
