My son was married last week and I got to make a flower girl dress for my 3 year old niece. I had such a good time doing this that now I want to make all her clothes.

  She loved her dress and my new DIL was delighted.  The color was chosen to match the bridesmaids. 

I made it from Simplicity 4647.  But I took some of the fullness out of the skirt because I thought it was just overwhelming for a little girl.  It has the little flounce sleeve shown in view A. 

This was a nice pattern because the fit isn't really critical.  The waist is meant to be high and it's an easy fit.  So I just made it from measurements and only tried it on once, before hemming it.

She is so adorable!  Great job on the dress, and congrats on your son's wedding!
