I was wondering if anybody could help me.

I'm looking for a fingerless gloves pattern... I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find one.

If anybody could help that would be great. Thanks!

marnie has a cool pattern on her site: http://www.mlminspirations.com/patterns/HFMGloves/HFMGloves.html

she also has another one that more of a wrist/arm warmer that looks pretty.   ....... okay, who are we fooling? everything on marnie's site is very impressive!  Cheesy

where are we going, and why am i in this handbasket?

I need help!
I'm working on my first set of mlm's Horray For Me gloves and I'm stuck!
I can't quite figure out how to knit the fingers and her pattern just doesn't seem to make any sense to me.
I've looked all around for other patterns, but they haven't really helped.  I was just going to trial -and-error it, but if someone wants to save me a little frustration (and a lot of ripped stitches) by clarifying her instructions I would be really grateful!

if you want a pattern that has all 5 fingers (not just to the edge of palm) try the book"weekend knitting"... dont have the author handy.

I really want to do Marnie's Mikado Ribbon Fingerless Gloves. Does anyone know how I could tweak the pattern to only go up to my elbow. I'm worried about chubby arms and running out of yarn.

I basically just need to know how many to cast on and I can figure it out from there. It's just that the pattern goes by row and not inches so my new to knitting brain can't quite figure out how many stiches would be on the needle when it got to just below the elbow.
