I had this shirt from one of my favorite artist's concerts and there was a small hole in it, so I decided to make a purse out if it!  I haven't sewed in a year so there are some defects when you look at it in real life, haha.

Sorry about the picture quality, my camera is broken (Sad) and all I have is my camera phone.

Note the extremely cheesy palm tree-ish fabric.  it was on clearence and I found the cheesiness lovely.

Currently I am attempting to make a messenger bag out of a t-shirt and it is proving much harder than I anticipated.  I post pictures when I'm done (if i ever finish!).

So, what do you all think?

OMIGOSH I LOOOOVVVEEEE that band... my English teacher plays the Illinoise CD to us when we write, and i must say it totally rocks my socks off.... SWEET BAG!

i love that bag. it's great. and the palm trees are funny, especially since they would shrivel up and die at the thought of a chicago winter.

my boss, a midwesterner on loan to New England just like me, burned me this cd and it made me feel all fuzzy and homesick.

I love the inside fabric a lot!
