So was it hard sewing through all those layers?  Also did you use fusible or sew in interface (I'm assuming sew-in but thought I'd check). 

very tough! i almost thought i had to abandon ship...but luckily my sewing machine pulled through. And I used fusible interfacing.

Well, you can't tell by looking at it that it gave you so much trouble.  It looks great! ^_^

i made my own pattern based on a bag that i saw and liked..but it turned out rather different! i had wanted it to be longer with more obviously sloped sides Smiley
