beaker was surprisingly easy to make a pattern for, except when i went to actually applique him together i had a tough time with his shirt and tie. i figured that wasn't the focus of the block anyway, so i didn't worry about it too much. gonzo was tough for me because i couldn't get his eyes looking right. his pupils were hard to position for some reason. for me though, piggy was the most difficult so far. there are so many pieces for her eyes. it took me all day to get them right! and then i wanted to put highlights in her hair, kind of like in the book but just using thread instead, and that took forever too! i think she turned out really cute though. her dress is sequined and very flashy in person!

i haven't started on fozzie yet. i'm still trying to decide how i want to go about that. i think i will do some experimenting first...i've also done a pattern for rowlf but i can't find the right kind of hair here in town. i may just use the same stuff i used for rizzo. i may finish the count and big bird before i truly decide on those two!

i'm having so much fun with this!!!!

Yeah - Beaker wasn't too hard for me either - but then again I only did his head.   I'm almost done with Piggy - and you're right, she's a tough one!  Have you done/are you going to do The Count?  He has a lot of pieces too!

I think I have some extra fur left over for what I used on Rowlf - I'll check to see how much I have left.  Just PM me if you'd like me to send it to you.

Wow! These Muppet quilts are terrific! I've seen the pattern books floating around for a few years.  I think they even did a feature on it in Quilters Newsletter Magazine a while back.

hey all!!
i've finally finished the last of my blocks! yay!!!
now i just have to put 'em all together. next time you see me i'll be in "completed projects!"

fozzie -- anna, i ended up just using an anti-pill fleece. i just roughed up it's fuzziness a little. but i had to make a choice and i decided to trade perfect texture for perfect color...

Great job, Roxy Nova!!!!!  The fleece worked out really well for Fozzie - I'll have to try that because I just can't find anything that comes close to the right color for him.  Can't wait to see the completed project!!!!!
