to applique, all you do is a very short zig-zag stitch on a medium-wide setting. using a fabric stabilizer on the back will make the process easier too. hope that helps!

Thanks so much! Did you use wonder-under or some other fusible webbing before you zig-zagged it? I went out and bought some fabric for it already.

i used wonder under for placing the character pieces to the block, but on the back of the entire block i used a stabilizer by sulky. i comes in rolls usually by the thread and stuff at the fabric store.
i don't have any plans for snuffy yet. i haven't had alot of time for anything lately, so all i'm  really doing is participating in a block of the month thing. it seems to be all i can get done! oh well, summer's coming, i'll have time then (i'm a teacher)... Grin
