Oh, I love the Sesame Street Quilt!  All the characters are great but I think my favorite one you did was Big Bird - the close up in your first post shows all the different shades of yellow you used for this feathers and it's fantastic.

Hmmmm, thinking I gotta get this book.

hey anna!
your quilt looks awesome!! i thought i'd show you some of the blocks i've done so far. i'm getting really excited about how the rest are going to turn out!! excuse my rough edges. they all still have their stabilizer attached to the back...

anyway, here's bert:

cookie monster (who still needs some chocolate chips embroidered onto his delicious cookie):

grover!:

rizzo, my boyfriend's favorite:

oscar:

and finally kermit, who for some reason wouldn't let me take a clear picture of him. i guess maybe he's embarrassed by the wonky applique around his eyes...:

anyway, i still have ALOT of work to do, but i'm learning patience with this one! can't wait to see yours all finished! have a wonderful day everybody!!!

Great job roxy nova!  My favorite of yours, so far, is Oscar - he looks so cuddly (if Oscar can be cuddly.)

I just bid on one of these pattern books on E-bay today - hopefully I will win so I can try these too.

March 7th - Yahoooooo! I won the auction, I've paid for it and now I wait for it to arrive - hopefully that won't take too long since it's coming from only about 100 miles away.

i've finally gotten a chance to do a few more blocks!! yay!! some still need a  few finishing touches, like piggy needs some pearls for a necklace, gonzo still needs his antenna and shirt buttons, and animal still needs his collar studs and chain, but they're pretty much done. my flash did a number on the colors, sorry. beaker and gonzo have a bit more definition between their eyes and flesh than it shows...anyway...
i can't wait to put it all together!!!!!

animal:

ernie:

beaker:

gonzo:

piggy:

thanks for lookin'!!  Grin

I love how vivid the colors are - that's going to be one wonderful quilt and I can't wait to see a picture of the finished product.

I still haven't started on mine.

I love them, roxy nova!  Great job on Beaker (no pattern for him!).  Aren't they fun to make?!  Your Gonzo turned out really well (as did all of them!) - I'm having a hard time with him for some reason!

Hey - have you started on Fozzie yet?  I'm anxious to see what you are using for his fur.
