Hi! I'm new to beading/jewelry making and have a couple of questions.
First of all, what is this? https://carousel.dropbox.com/photos/cc/0DHmXgkImt5lNUe
I bought a "Design & Style" beading kit from Michaels, which came with a lot of stuff, but no instructions. It says the item above is a "finding" but I can't tell what it is.
Secondly, does anyone have any experience with these kits? Lots of googling doesn't turn up anything - no projects made from them, no reviews, nothing but a single facebook post complaining that there are no instructions included with the kit.

To me, it looks like a bicone-like bead - in other words, just a shaped bead.  Is there at least a picture on the kit to guide you?  Otherwise, I would think it is a freestyle kit where they just supply the goods and you can string it in anyway you want.  What kind of instructions are you looking for - knowing the other contents in the package may be helpful too.

yeah, post a picture of what's in the kit, and we'll tell you what to make from it!

It looks like what is also sometimes referred to as a spacer or spacer beads; that might be why they called it a "finding" instead of a bead!
