I was just thinking the same thing! Smiley I think that would be an awsome idea. If it was actually made it would make the forum better than it already is! Smiley

I see on the the completed projects board-purses board that there are a lot of tutorials posted.  Is there a possibility for a tutorial board?  Maybe the tuts could be copied into there, or moved there after so much time.  It would make it easy to find them.  A lot of times someone will add a tutorial to a post that is already going, but it could be moved later possibly?  It would make them easier to find, and would free up the top of the projects boards from all the sticky topics.

Just an idea.

VERY good idea! I see that on lots of forums and it's a nice idea. Then when you click on it there would be all the little child boards like one for each craft or something. I say again, very good idea.

I'm glad someone else likes this idea as well!!

I was actually thinking that the tutorial board would go under each catagory, but your idea would work as well--to have them all in one board.

What I was thinking would be like this..

 PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS
           Completed Projects: General
           Completed Projects: Reconstructed
           Discussion and Questions
           Tutorials

Either way, it'd be nice.

That's a good idea too. Then if someone was just browsing and they saw a cool project maybe they would just want to easily check.... but then there would be so many sections! Either way, they would have to get tons of new mods. Hey, if they do this we could all moderate!  Grin Cheesy

I think just having all the tutes in one place is a good idea, but my main peeve about them in the handbag section is that they take up way too much real estate. Sometimes it's hard to tell where they end and the regular threads begin, and it's so far down the page!

A board with all the tuts categorized by type or some thing would be great

Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, it's not your fault.
They won't take you to the vet,
You're probably not their favorite pet.

If you do a search for "tutorial", you'll find all the tutorials on the site.

but then you have to sift through everyones comments and requests for tuts(not actual tuts) to get through to the actual tuts. My suggestion is a board that contains only tuts, nothing else. Example: i request a tut on some body's project, they decide to post the tut, but rather than put it in that thread, they could but it on the tut board and then put a link in the thread to lead the other members to it
