I love tutorials and who doesn't? I'm really new here and I love to learn about how to do crafts or look at tutorials that could give me an idea how to do new things. The only problem is that I have to search for them(I admit..I'm lazy). Some of the links to them are in one spot on some boards and not in another.

Why not have the links all in one board but still divided by the different crafts?

the boards that have that were done by the industrious mods who took the time to organize it....i think each individual board should have a tutorial area...but one board dedicated might be much.....

then again, i NEVER use them, so i guess my opinion in moot....

Craftopedia is a great resource.  Unfortunately, it's down for maintenance right now, but it will be back in action soon.

There are SO many tutorials added each day, I can't imagine how we would keep track of all of them for one list.

I think seperate boards for tutorials would be awesome. Once all the current tutorials were moved, it would be easy to keep up if people just posted there originally. I love tutorials!

This is where the tagging feature comes in handy!  If you click View Topics by Tag and click on the Tutorials tag, you will see every topic that has been tagged as a tutorial  Smiley

i think there should be a special board for tuts and if you have a tut, say for a bag out of a cassettes, you could post it in the 'bags, recon' and then copy you're post and put it in the tut section.

We try to discourage duplicate posting because then there are questions/answers located on two different boards.

With the tagging feature, you can tag a thread with "tutorial."  You'll even be able to search tags by specific category once it's fully functional.

I have been a browsing guest for a while looking at all the great things that ppl have been making, all very inspiring...

Yet when I come back to look for the thread that had a tuturial in it, I  just can't seem to find it.  Anyways, as a new member I thought I'd have access to things like that but evidently its not the case.

So I was thinking maybe there can be a board with the compilation of tuturials/ tuturial links in it under different categories like clothes, hand bags, crafts, etc...

What do you think??
