I understand what your saying, but I was suggesting a way for you to find tuts, b/c I'm not sure this will get done for a really long time, if at all.

I was thinking under each topic like embroidery and paper, bookmaking, etc. that it would be cool to have a separate subcategory for tutorials. Then everyone could  post their tutroails there and they'd be easy to find etc.

Does anyone else like this idea? think it's stupid? let me know!

I like this idea!

Leah is working on the next version of Craftster and I think there will be a feature that will accomplish this, but possibly in a different manner.

Fantastic idea. And Leah is brilliant for thinking ahead.

Sweet! It's just a little hard to find the right tutorials through the search sometimes. Tell Leah thanks!  Smiley AWESOME, bunny smilies!

that's actually a great idea, especially since the search doesn't work as well as it used to (won't get hits on topics unless you check "search ONLY topics")

I think this is a great idea as well!
The only downfall I could see to this is that a lot of people post their tutorials in their completed projects post- so it would either require completely splitting their post up or them having their CP moved to a new board where they wouldn't get so many comments on the completed project, but more on the tut itself
