ok, its not really a party, but i didnt know where to put it, so here it is:

each homecoming my school does class competitions, including decorating one hallway in the school based on ur class theme

sophmores have arctic, we got the basics (igloo, eskimos, polar bear, walrus, snowflakes, etc.) but we need some more ideas

the catch is that we have to make everything we use, so the ideas need to be make-able

o and if neone knows how we could make a sled (like the kind the dogs pull) that would be great too!!

thanks for all ur help!

wow! what a cool theme! (narf)

you need some big paper glaciers!

or cardboard even..

you could make a sled out of cardboard maybe.. take a red wagon that's big enough for someone to sit in, and add some cardboard to the sides to make it look more sled-ish, then add dogs/freshmen and voila!

white tulle gathered up around white christmas lights give the effect of 'snow' drifts.

Oohh that sounds so cool!! Your hangin snowflakes from the ceiling right? Could you build a "fake" snowman out of those foam balls?? I think that would be cool and have "christmas" music playing? Maybe Im to into a Christmasy feel and not yours..lol, well I hope I helped anyway!
then add dogs/freshmen and voila!

Tee hee...I'm a freshman, but this made me laugh...well I better go...my master is calling*woof*

Wow- my school sucked! Could you do something along the Titanic crashing, or is that just not "school safe." You mentioned you had penguins and ice fishing but do you have the penguins ice fishing. How about make four ice houses with each year on them 200_ whatever and make your classes the best and maybe make the freshsman one sinking. Hmm, just some ideas. You should definetely post pics when you are done.

just wanted to tell everyone we won!!!!! srry i dont have any pics, i was gunna do it during half time at the homecoming game, since no one would get n the way of the pics, but i had to play n the band, ugg

if neone casually needs ne ideas for how to make stuff for the arctic, i would love to help out

we ended up with a huge paper mache polar bear ice fishing (he was high up on platform, so u could see the fish he was catching below him), ice skaters, a sea of tundra-y fish, a section with pine trees (from the carpet rolls at the carpet places) and animals, 2 igloos (one was a snack shack where we sold jennings chips, we played jennings at the football game, lol) a ski lift with our school mascot in it, penguins skating, icebergs, penguins walking across like these ice 'beams' (it was cool, cuz ppl walked under the beams and saw the penguins over them), o yea n a big walrus, lol

thanks for the help!!
