This was my first "shaped" piece of knitting, a kitty!  Smiley  I adapted a pattern I had for a pig and added a tail.

The quality of the photo isn't great, but the general idea is there.   Smiley

Oh, that is so cute!

I've wanted to get into knitting stuffed animals for a while. I have the pattern for a pony, and some various dinosaurs, and I've seen a book that details how to make cats, pigs, dogs, and rabbits. I can just imaging things like that would sell well around Christmastime.

I've got a couple of patterns and one is for a cuddly pig.  It's a Sirdar one I think?  It's just a very basic cuddly toy pattern though.

I'll add the pattern I adapted for this later, it would be a very good starting project for a beginner! Smiley

Thanks everybody, I'll post up more pics of my knitting projects soon.

Have a better photograph.. pattern to follow as soon as I have time to sit and copy it out.  PM me if you'd specifically like this pattern and I'll make the time to do it quicker.
