I just smacked myself in the head.  Of course!  I actually thought about that when I was drawing the pattern, but for some reason I ended up not doing it.  Thanks, Rackycoo.  Smiley

How did you guys make is so that at where the side seams meet at the top there is not little dip downwards?  All my corner/flap things were the same size, but I still got the dip down at the side seams at the top

I used pythagoreum threom (think thats how you spell it) to figure out all the lengths of the 'flappy' triangular thing to make them all even. Its high school math.... remember C^2=a^2 +b^2     Undecided

Yep - I got the dip on the first one I made too - I plan to adjust the pattern a bit for the next one.

Here's my version - I made it quite a while ago but haven't posted it yet. At first I thought the shape wouldn't suit me but it's actually great, because it's shallow but wide, I can see everything at a glance. I made the straps longer because I like to wear it on my shoulder (if I have to carry a bag in my hands, I'm likely to put it down somewhere and lose it).

I bought a box of 200 brads recently because they were on special.  Now I know what to use them for!  Duh!!  Thanks for a great tutorial.  J Grin

lol, that made me laugh. my name is Tasha. so it would be my Tasha Sha Sha Dream Bag. i think i'd just get funny looks, and a sad smile. lol.
