I'm in love...I'll be working on my cousin's Christmas presents just as soon as I pick some fabric (and a ribbon bag for me...because WOW!)

It's always nice to know I'm not alone with those DOH! moments.  Just think how much handier you'll be with your sewing machine now!   Grin

Wowie zowie - thanks for all the posts!

Kellebelle & IchBeisse- Sorry for your frustration... I never even thought to measure that angle.  And.. "HA" to whether I have a protractor handy...   Cool<-non-highschool graduate
That angle is also 6 1/4" (like how tall it is).

hollyg9211 - I had to do a search on Ben Kweller to figure out what you were talking about.... so.. no, no inspiration there.

ziyun - I bought all my fabric here in San Diego, at either Michael's or Joann's (always with a 40% off coupon!)

jankeldesigns, CarrieDavenp, waterpolocat, starlawill - I'm gonna work on a tut for the ribbon purse today.  I'll drop you an IM when it's posted.

Alright - back to work on my swap project - MONSTER PURSES!!!!

Prowled the site this morning.  Found your bag this afternoon.  Just finished a Sha Sha Dream for myself.  I am one happy gal!!!

I skipped the interfacing, as I used some green (light weight) nubby upholstery fabric for the outside, and a vintage curtain panel for the inside.  Seems substantial enough without.

Have been looking for a pattern to love for ages... and can I say it...

I am in love Smiley
Thanks heaps!
