Swap name: Craft Crap Swap 2
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: DsgndbyRJ
Sign-up date range: Sep 23 - 29
Date to send item by: Oct 14

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): No

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Yes

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: Yes

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: Yes

jMi graciously let me copy her original post - so here we go, with slight modifications:

Details of swap: If you're like me you have tons of extra crafting materials lying around your house. I have fabric, thread, paint, brushes, stencils, beads, findings, stickers, markers, magnets, batting, charms, tons of odds and ends--- all waiting to be used! Yet, I have no use for them anymore because I'm bored with them. And as they say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure!" So lets trade our trash!
Requirements
-Everything you send must be useable! So, no fabric scraps that you couldn't even wrap around your pinkie, or broken items.  Don't send anything you wouldn't want to receive!
-You will send your partner at minimum a 9x12 envelope full of craftyness, if your items are better fitted to a box that works too! [just don't toss a couple of fabric scraps in a regular #10 and call it done! Wink ]
~~~
The date ranges are short because everyone was so anxious to send in round 1.  There is no crafting involved and really you don't have to wait to find out who your partner is to get things ready!  If you're curious about round 1 search "Let's Trade Craft Crap" in the gallery to have a peek at what was sent/received.
If you want to participate, PM me the following information:
Name of swap: Craft Crap Swap 2
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of the US?
Anything you are absolutely not interested in receiving?
Would you prefer to do an envelope or box swap?
IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ME (DsgndbyRJ) VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.
Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.
inches - the size of regular sheet of paper.  Smiley  It will ofcourse depend on what you are sending.  If you're sending lots of wool/fabric chances are you'll use a box.  If it's paper or smaller / flat items an envelope might work better!   Wink
Damn.
I would really like to participate in this swap, but I am already participating in another swap, which is my first.  Even though I have already sent my swap package to my swap partner,  I don't think my feedback will be update before the closing date.
Oh well,  looks like I will just have hope there will be Craft Crap Swap 3.
As long as your partner has received you could talk to the swap organiser about your situation and ask if she wouldn't mind updating your feedback!
I only sent my swap package yesterday (sent earlier than sending date) and it is being sent international.  My swap partner is not going to get it for 7 - 10 days. She won't receive it before the closing date.
Aw, that's too bad - but I know how you feel - so many fun swaps going on!  Hopefully there will be a round 3 for you to join!  Grin
I'm the swap organizer *teehee* so the moment I hear from her partner I will update.  Speaking of that - I should start my swap gallery
So what size packages are people planning on sending?  I have somehow managed to amass a new pile of stuff - a friend now gives me her unwanted craft supplies, and that adds up, along with further cleanouts of my own supply.  So I can send a lot.
Not trying to be greedy - I just hope that I can swap bigger-sized boxes with someone, as it would be disappointing to send a big, heavy box and get back an envelope.  Will we be matched based on how much we want to send?
I noitced that the post office has this new priority box that you can send what ever you want in it and it only cost $7.90. No matter how much it weighs, it is a pretty good size box. That is just a thought.
That would have been a good Q to put in the sign-up questionnaire.  I'm going to PM everyone and ask their size preference - though it can get tricky.  I know what I send (mostly scrapbook & jewelry related items) are small / flat, whereas wool is big and bulky . . .  but I will see if there isn't someone else out there who wants to do a big box.  Otherwise I would suggest figuring it out with your partner before sending.
qazicat- I've only done one swap and it seems that the organizer has disappeared before giving us feedback.  And I can't figure out what to do.  So for now I can't join any other swaps.  Cry BUT- I was thinking...if you wanted to exchange addresses, we could do a mini craft crap swap of our own...since neither of us can technically join the actual swap.  Just let me know if you're interested  Wink
Yep,  I'm interested.  I have check through the boards and have seen that your swap partner has received their swap parcel, so I feel as though you are trust worthy.  But I live in Australia.  Are you prepared to send parcels international?
As for your feedback issue,  maybe you can pm one of the swap moderators and ask for their advice.
Not sure if you got my pm when you sent your sign-up where I suggested you contact a moderator with your situation, anyway I pm'd retroeva (swap moderator) earlier this afternoon for you - you won't be able to participate in this swap - but hopefully it will get cleared up soon!  Smiley
Ok ladies - partners have been sent!  If you have any problems or haven't received your partner PM please let me know!  I will be away this weekend but will check in peridoically!
For first time swappers, please remember to PM myself and your partner with your DC number when you send.  For those sending international a DC is not required.  And I'll do my best to update your feedback asap so you can get on to more swaps!  Wink
