My sister used to live near the museums. There was a whole slew of funky vintage shops over there. Nearby, not in the immediate vicinity, but REALLY cool.

Most of the museums in Ft. Worth are clustered around Camp Bowie/Montgomery St . . . I love that area!  And I didn't remember the cool shops there until I saw this post --  I may have to make a field trip sometime soon!

hmmm, i live on 7th street, a couple blocks from the museums, and there's not much over here. sad to say, but its true. there's a vintage shop that carries furniture and some clothing right across from the Modern, next to film depot, but that's about it.

thrift town on abrams in arlington
salvation army on abrams in arlington

those are the ones i go to...

The salvation army by the courthouse in fortworth has half off wednesday and usually some good stuff to sift through i think its on 28th street .. im from arlington but find it worth the drive
