my first sweater!

yes! i finally finished it! it took me about three weeks, but i actually started a few times over again.

as i didn't have a real pattern, i used my mom's advice and a lot of measuring to make out the size and all.

the color combo may seem a bit weird, my dad even called it 'psychedelic'. but that's okay, cause i like psychedelic music...

That's great!  I love it, and impressive that you did it without a pattern.  If only I can get passed my fear of sweaters and long knitting projects.  I've only done scarves, hats, shawls, and bags.  I'm an instant gratification gal!

It fits you perfectly!  Advantages of designing by your own measurements, hey?  I wish I was brave enough to do that, but, not having my mum in the near vicinity to advise, I don't quite dare!
