i gues i should have been more clear about that: I'd Love one that you've sewn yourself. but one that youve bought, and stenciled, or "put something on it" would also be cool.

brokenpencil,  I'll send you a messenger bag.

here's my list again.

~ a felted purse  thank you bente!!

~ some sort of resin made jewelry, like a pendant necklace or something

~ a knit or crocheted mini poncho

~ a fedora or a newsboy hat or the radar hat

~ knit or crocheted arm warmers

~ knit or crocheted long skinny scarf thank you taped_on_wings!!

~ vintage men's neckties.  I especially love the ones that have some texture to them.

~ anything strawberry shortcake - the original 80's version not the new one

~ anything holly hobbie or just kids in big hats, or big-eyed kids/animals

I'm a bohemian-hippie at heart, but my usual dress is fairly casual.  I love muted colors, autumn colors, plus grays, deep teal, dark purple.  I like retro or vintage looking things.    Actually I'm pretty eclectic, and would like just about anything, especially if it's comfortable and casual.

Also, FYI for taloola and hertrigger... I will be sending out your packages tomorrow.  I'll PM you with the DC#'s

Hey, I just sent my info to Eowynmn to get preapproved for this swap, and I'm really excited!

I'm kinda worried about whether I'll ever get a chance to claim someone, though. I've noticed that some people jump on new lists really quickly! With so many people pre-approved, it would be cool if there was more sharing of wish granting/receiving. It's such a cool idea that I can totally see how we're all so excited about it, but as I say to my Girl Guides, "sharing is caring!" There seem to be people who haven't had a chance to claim anyone's wish yet, which is too bad, since they might have skills to grant people's other wishes that some of the more gungho wish granters don't have. I guess it's a trade-off between keeping the circle moving really fast and giving everyone a chance to get home from school/work and take a look to see who's wish they can grant!

I'm a sewer, and artist, and generally all-around creative person with more fabric in my stash than I know what to do with!

Well that's why there is a three wish out at a time limit. Smiley

As this swap goes on though I think it will die downa  little and more people will have a chance

There's also the possibility of having a small wish and a large wish swap.  AKA a purse would be a large wish - a little zipper pouch - small wish - and we could make up guidelines....that's just an idea.

i wouldn't worry too much though.

ALSO everyone - my computer is down.err more imporantly my internet connection.  I'm borrowing my dad's computer but he's going to kick me off to play poker in a bit so most updates will have to wait til I can fix it.

I've got Laraebay's anything carebears! My wishlist..

1. The Chicken Viking Hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21342.0 or crocheted in http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47371.0 I'm in love with it.. obsessed with it.. but i can't make it!

2. Cupcake hat http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=36507.0   Grin

3. Sushi hat... just a thought.

4. Any other sort of relatively strange hat, any material!

5. Something Beatles related, like a screen-printed shirt or purse

About me: I rather enjoy the bizarre.. I love black, purple, and red, and I want to start wearing hats.  Stripes and fun designs are happy. If I need to elaborate or add something, let me know! OH, and I'm from PA in the USA.

I just have to wait for my feedback (my item was received yesterday) in the creative writing swap and get my pre approval and then I'll be jumping on in here.  Was I right in sending a message to eowynmn asking for approval?  I'm a bit confused on that part.
