First post, first scarf! CLOVER SCARF Tutorial!

i only wish i knew how to crochet 

It's not difficult to learn, brokenpencil! I just learned through the internet, and although my house maid did teach me a bit of crochet a long time ago, she ddin't tell me (or perhaps didn't know) the names of the stitches and stuff so I couldn't follow patterns.

Crocheting is a nice skill to have.

I can't wait to use this pattern! I'm going to simplify it a bit and keep it at 1 row of clovers so I can use it as a trim on a future civil war gown. Can you imagine how long that first row of chain stitch will be!? I can't wait anyway

Thanks Simona!  I am learning to crochet and this is my first "real" project.  


I used 3 skiens of Kool Wool, (sale yarn, whoo-hoo!) and a size L hook.  Probably could have used a smaller hook, but it was what I had on hand.
