Wow - that scarf is beautiful, and a great tutorial.  I've only been crocheting a week, but I feel like I could give it a go.

Any idea how much wool/yarn you used?  I'm off to the wool shop tonight to get some wool for a different project, and I'd love to pick some up for this!

Thanks again for sharing, and for writing a great tute.

For the scarf in the picture I use 200gr of wool, around 40 rows, but I realized it's too long to wear comfortble, yesterday i finished the yellow one, those of the tutorial, for my friend, and I used 150gr and i think in was of the right lenght!

Aah - thanks for the clarification on wool - I've picked up some pink variegated and I'm going to do one of these for my sister for Christmas - I'll post up a picture when I'm done!

As an aside, pictures 4 & 9 aren't showing up, and Ithink it's because you've got http://:// instead of http:// in the urls for the pictures.

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

Great tutorial only over shadowed by the beautiful scarf you made!

Give yourself a pat on the back!

I agree the tutorial is fantastic!  I tried out the stitch during the weekend and it worked!!!  This is indeed a big encouragement - considering me a crochet idiot who can't follow instructions.

I'm trying to make a blouse using this pattern, will post pic when it's done!
