Wow great job.  I noticed that nobody said anything about the rows of polka dots matching?!?!? That really makes it great.  The black buttons scewed my eyes around though because they look like out of place polkadots (didn't plan to get scewed today lol!)

Again, Awesome Job on the whole package!

Thank you for all the nice comments!

I bought the fabric in Skara (a small Swedish town) and unfortunately that was all I had. I really wish I had bought more  Sad

I had planned to put the buttons either between the dots or on them but they got too far apart that way. Nice that you noticed that the dots lines up, I did put some thought into that  Wink

When it comes to the tutorialhmmthat will be quite hard since I have no good pictures and don't know the pattern drafting terms in English, and it's quite a long process from starting with a basic bodice pattern to ending up with the finished blouse. But I will think about it.

Here's my latest creation. I drafted the pattern myself.

Jsses!

You so need to make more like that one and sell it! Different colors, different patterned fabric... Endless possibilities!
That is pure genious, girl!! You rock!

I want one too, but since I'm a chunky girl I wouldn't look that gorgeous in it, so I'll wait patiently 'til I have the money to join in on that Cambridge Diet ride everybody around me seems to go for. Well, wasn't that a side note! Sorry. Roll Eyes

Maybe you could order spotty fabric from E-bay? I found some good sources for cool fabrics there, and to a low cost (shipping included)! I just wished for some dot fabric in a swap I'm currently in, and I'm planning to make a skirt or a bag or something easy, since I don't have your mad skillz. Smiley

Gorgeous!

I second that! You could make a ton of money selling these (I would buy at least two)! I already tried to buy the shirt off annamaria's back but she was just too in love with it!

Thank you again for all the nice comments. I never expected to get so much feedback. Wow!

Opiate rose, I will take some more pictures of it and post as soon as I get the time.

And when it comes to a tutorial, I'm sorry but I just can't make one for the entire thing. But since many of you have commented on the collar especially, I'm making one for that. It might take a few days though.

Tutorial for Peter Pan collar

You can make this collar for any blouse or shirt as long as it has an opening in the front.

Pattern drafting

1. Take the center front piece and center back piece of your pattern. If it has darts at the shoulder temporarily move it/them to the side (a).

2. Lay the pattern pieces shoulder to shoulder, overlapping 1-2 cm at the armhole (b).

3. Take a piece of paper and put it over the pattern. Trace the neckhole, but lower it 0,5 cm at the front (c )
Draw a line 6,5 cm from the neckhole and draw the center back and center front lie as the picture shows.

4. Cut out the collar pattern and make two folds, 1cm at the outer line and 0 at the inner (d). Make sure that the pattern still is flat.

5. Shape the front of the collar (e).

Sewing the collar

6. Fold the fabric and put the pattern with the side marked center back against the fold. Cut it out with 1 cm seam allowance. Do the same thing again, so that you have two pieces.

7. Put fusible interfacing on one of the pieces. Put the pieces right sides together and sew 1 cm in along the outer side (marked in pink).

8. Press the seam apart cut little triangles in the seam allowance at the rounded part, and turn it so that the right sides are out. Press the collar so that the seam isn't visible from top. Sew about 2-5 mm in all around the outer edge (pink). This will help the collar keep its shape.

9. Attach the collar to your garment.

I'm not very good at explaining things, but I hope you understand it. Good luck!

Ok, finally pictures of the pattern. I know that it has taken quite some time, but I've been very busy lately.

Here are the pictures. All measurements are in centimeters. If you have any questions, just ask and I'll do my best to answer  Smiley
