OH NOES! Failure: Too-small-for-school-bag.

So, my daughter has this crappy school bag, and I recently decided that just wouldn't do.  I mean, I make bags all the time, so she should have a more unique bag, right?  Unfortunately, I had a complete lapse of reason when figuring the measurements and ended up with something that is too small to hold her enormous amount of books (she's in 4th grade...way too much homework >_<), yet too large to be a purse for her. 
It is pretty cute, and she'd go nuts if she saw it, but I think I'm going to try to sell it and make her a larger one.

Anyway, here's pics:



The bag from the outside.  That critter on the front is a sort of bunny.  I saw a picture online like that and thought it was cute. 



The inside of the bag (and my extremely blurry arm )...it has a back pocket and a pocket in front with compartments for her pens and stuff...which now have little or no purpose.  OH TEH ANGST!!11!!  O_o

oh gosh no! you cannot sell that bag! keep it keep it! keep it! perhaps it could be because i don't like to give up bags that turn out well, or it could be a compulsion of sorts, but if i made that great bag, i would find a use for it. hee hee hee.

just look at the great fabric match, and the just right amount of lace. top drawer.

Aw...I love your choice of fabric and the whimsical bunny applique.  That's definitely a keeper...I wouldn't sell it!  Then again, I have a hard time parting with things I make

Thanks for the compliments everybody!    I'm debating about keeping the bag or selling it.  I really need a new purse....but it's not exactly what I would have made for myself.  I might try taking it down town to this cute boutique and see if they would sell on consignment maybe.  I just don't know...I'm so indecisive, lol.  ^^;;

Yes, that is my Dark Mark!  LOL you are the first person ever to recognize it for what it is.

I love it! I love it! I lovvee itt!! I would definatly buy that ~ But if I made something THAT amazing (which I never would) I would definatly keep it... but if you have no use for it then go ahead and sell it! You could probably make a bundle...

By the way... Did you sew the lace on or applique?

Thank you!!  I think I'm gonna try and sell it cause I have no use for a bag that size myself, and I don't think any of my friends would want it. ^^;
I sewed the lace on and the bunny face...both are machine stitched.   I was excited that I sewed the bunny on with the machine without it looking all crappy like it usually does when I try to machine stitch appliques!
