o dear lordy that is cute, instead of shelling out lotsa money 4 a skool bag 2moz i fink i mite do that!! ermm, this mite have been answered b4 but i didnt read all the posts, was it hard to keep it secure? for example if i put all my books in it would it break, kind of thing? sorry ive forgotten the word!! xxx

Thanks!  No, I didn't do anything special to make it more secure.  I did use fusible interface on all the exterior fabric., but that was more to have it keep it's shape.  I just made a new, larger bag exactly the same as this one and my daughter put all her books in it today and it held up well.  I make all my purses the same way and have never had them not stand up to wear and tear (and I am hard on my bags!).  Good luck making one and be sure to post pics for us to see!! ^_^
