Yay! Sounds like they really need people from the area - e-mail them and they'll send you the application. Super simple.

Thanks for the heads up Faythe!  I e-mailed them, got an application and sent it back.  It would be cool to be on TV, but horrible to clean up my craft room enough to be seen by national television!

I also got a call back, they wanted a picture with no tattoos- lame. I'm still down though!

They really need more people the producer said they are looking for artists who do 3-D work, pass that along to anyone who you may think is interested!

Photos with no tattoos... heh. Why why why do people freak out about tattoos? I've seen one episode of the show and the people that have been on it are really *normal* looking.
They asked how many piercings I have, so I just said right away that they can come out no problem.  Certainly worth it to be on teeeveeee. (if I had to take them out and dye my hair brown for my brothers wedding, I can normalize for television.)

They asked for more pictures of me and I guess I'm normal enough looking.  After hearing Faythe's tattoo story, I sent them a side shot of my face featuring my nose stud, which aren't that uncommon these days but I didn't really want it to be a surprise and then have to take it out (which still might happen).  But anyways, its exciting to be considered!

Nose studs are probably barely even noticeable on camera... Mine is pretty teensy and is hardly seen in photos.
My labret is pretty obvious though so I think that's what they're worried about. oooh, those crazy 'sconnie girls.  Wink

Yay! Congratulations!

I've gotten a few calls, and they like my stuff but they're having problems with the directions. (They're pretty complicated.) So, keeping fingers crossed.... and yay for you!!
