So my grandmother called me the other day and said she'd really like a duct tape purse, but not a big one, just enough to fit some cash and lipstick for when she goes out to dances.  She wanted a clutch style with a rope-type handle to throw over her shoulder.   I still have to add the strap, but everything else is done.  Supplies 1 1/2 rolls of black duct tape, 6 sets of self adhesive velcro, and 2 eyelets for the strap.  All supplies purchased at the dollar store.  Anyway enough yapping and here it is:

and inside:

There are 2 large suare pockets to hold change and lipstick, 4 credit card slots and a pocket for the bills.  both pocketshave velcro closures as does the purse itself.  Thanks for looking

Thanks everyone.  I didn't want to make this one too duct tapey, as it is for a 69 year old woman.  It took some tinking to come up with the design, I wanted the oversized wallet style so I wouldn't have to make room to put a wallet in there.  But I also needed some room for change and some small trinkets, so I went with the square pockets.  Then I had to figure out  how to attatch the 3 dimensional pockets, but it all got worked out.

I think it's the coolest! Which is also what a 69-year-old lady that goes out dancing is ; )

You really have awesome duct taping/engineering skills!

Yeah, Nana rocks.  She even takes my business cards and some samples of my work to bingo to sell my crafts each week.  Which reminds me... I must go make some shrinky dink bingo card earrings.
