This started off as a top.  No, actually, it REALLY started off as a twin-sized bedsheet that I was going to use to make a shirt.  Only thing was, when I got close to being done with the top, I decided I didn't want to stop yet.  Soo, it grew into a summery sundress.  (Good thing this is Dallas and it'll be hot 'til mid-October or later!)

Everything I used for this dress came from one flat bedsheet, with the exception of the ducky appliques.  I made this up as I went along, with no pattern and absolutely no picture of a finished product in mind as I worked, so I really want to know what ya'll think of it!  Thanks!  (Excuse my hideously messy craft shelves greyed out in the background.)

Here's a tutorial for the top part of this dress.  It's my first tut, and I'm afraid it's pretty bad,  If anything is unclear, just ask and I'll try to clarify!  Smiley

So lovely!

How do you make the top part of it?!  I've always wondered about making a pull-string top.  Smiley
